Voice is Mika Nakashima (http://allvpop.com/lossless/mika-nakashima)’s ninth album (sixth full-length studio release), released on November 26, 2008. It contains all of her singles from Life up to Orion. The album had two releases: a CD-only and CD+DVD format. The CD+DVD version comes in a deluxe box.
‘Voice,’ which provided Nakashima with her first #1 album on the Oricon 200 Album Chart since ‘Best’ in 2005, is best described as an adult contemporary pop/rock album. Its first three songs have a synth-based arrangement, whereas the arrangements for most of the remaining songs on the album focus on acoustics.
This album has been certified Platinum by RIAJ for shipment of 250,000 copies in Japan, and has amassed sales of over 450,000 copies since its release in 2008.
